The TARA Awards is an award show created by Ryerson University media students to celebrate the projects done by students in RTA Media Production, Sports Media and New Media. This year, 70 students worked together to celebrate the 43rd Annual TARA awards.
This was my final year at RTA, so I really wanted to be part of one last RTA event and what better way than with the TARA Awards. I was given the opportunity to be a part of the Creative Team as one of their Video Editors for Social Media and the Live Show where I edited together 40+ different segments. It was so wonderful to celebrate my time in RTA by seeing everything we learned being put into this award show. *This is one of the videos that I edited together.

I do not own the music and it was used solely for fun.

As a part of an editing assignment, we were given footage provided by LinkedIn Learning to edit together a promotional video that could be used as a social media posting for the company.

Created through the lens of a railway light cover. The idea was to create distortion from the point of view of someone that may not be fully coherent. Shot on a Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro.
Lighting & Cinematography

Created as my final assignment for my lighting and cinematography class at the beginning of COVID-19. I was inspired to do this concept around Easter when I was painting eggs. I was fascinated by the way the dye was separating through the water. With the use of one softbox and a TV screen, I was able to work with the resources within the house to create an interesting piece. Music (Lungs by Vancouver Sleep Clinic) is not mine and used for educational purposes only.

I was inspired by Gabbie Hanna's song & music video "Special". As some practice and fun with camera angles and editing techniques, we remade a portion of her music video.
