For my third year in TMU (formally known as Ryerson) Media Production program, we worked towards our thesis projects going into our final year. Our thesis project was a pitch for a 30-minute short film.
I was responsible for a couple of different elements for the pre-production of this film but my main role was to be Creative Lead. I created the branding identity that matched and portrayed our film through colours, fonts, logos, and line drawings.
This branding identity was also applied to our 430-page production bible which I designed each page to create a cohesive and well-thought-out production bible.

A Remake of Joker (2019) Poster
The motivation behind this poster illustration comes from the Joker Film (2019). The film was impressive but something about the movie poster was off. Right where the Joker is standing, his right hand and head look like they are touching the side of the building. So I decided to not only cartoon the poster in a minimalist style but also combine several compositions during the stair scene in the Joker.

The target demographic I had in mind when creating this child book cover, was children between the ages of 5-8 years old, as the characters are more realistic and use bold colours to attract their attention. The genre of this novel is a nonfiction narrative or a typical child novel that tells an important message.

I created this as a promotional piece for a made-up company. The idea is if you were promoting a country to travel to what advertising piece would you use and how would you design it.
So I designed a postcard, Snapchat filter, luggage tag, and web ads.
