The motivation behind this poster illustration comes from the Joker Film (2019). The film was amazing but one thing that irritated me was the movie poster composition. Right where the Joker is standing, his right hand and head look like they are touching the side of the building. It annoyed me that he wasn't just moved over slightly or moved in post-production, so I decided to not only cartoon the poster into a minimalist style but also combine several compositions during the stair scene in the Joker.
